These kits are very special to me and if you were drawn to this listing, you are probably supposed to get one. My family and I travel to Ghana frequently and each time I try to bring back something to share with others, especially those that have not had that honor.
This divine incense trio contains aromatic woods and grains sourced from a market in Techiman, Ghana in 2022. Two of the incense are known, hyedua resin and frankincense with bark. Honestly, the 3rd incense is an unknown wood but it smells so damn good.
The hyedua is unique because the resin from the hyedua tree drips down to the ground, eventually solidifies and is dug up to be used as incense and for other commercial uses. Yep. This resin was buried in African soil. What a way to connect with Spirit during your ritual practice. The cowrie shells, historically used as money on the Continent and an ongoing symbol of prosperity and the Divine Feminine, were also sourced in Ghana.
LIMITED EDITION: If this listing still says limited edition, it will be packed with Spanish Moss that I collected from Saint Helena Island, SC. Use it as an ornamental or in your work. IYKYK
For Use: Burn over charcoal in a heat resistant charcoal incense burner in a well ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never leave burning incense unattended.
