Lotus Birth Kit-Placenta Drying Herbs-Salt Mixture-Herbal Cord Powder

Lotus Birth is the practice of not cutting the baby's umbilical cord after birth but instead allowing it to naturally dry and detach on its own, usually takes 3-10 days. This kit is made to assist families who chose this gentle method of cord separation. This kit includes organic ingredients, carefully selected to help with the drying process and decrease odor. The herbs included are not only beautiful and aromatic, but they are also antiseptic and drying.

Herbs Packet - A combination of yarrow, lavender, rosemary, calendula, chamomile, rose, oregano, cloves used to dress the placenta. Any leftover herbs can be used in a bath for the mother.

Salt Mixture - Himalayan and sea salt to be applied heavily to the placenta at birth and daily as needed

Cord Drying Powder - A powder blend made of Oregon grape root, yarrow, lavender and goldenseal to be applied directly to the belly button. Leftover powder can be applied sparingly to cuts and scrapes as an antiseptic. Please note that this blend contains herbs that may cause staining on clothing.
