This virtual class is for birth workers, herbalists and anyone else interested in increasing their knowledge of herbs used during pregnancy and postpartum.
The class will be taught by Tina M. Braimah, a midwife and herbalist based out of Durham, NC. She is the owner of Sankofa Birth and Women's Care as well as Gracie Deola's Natural Wellness Remedies. Tina brings a wealth of birth-related and herbal knowledge and always provides an engaging exchange with the participants.

Introduction to Herbalism
Nourishing and Uterine Toning Herbs
Herbal Remedies for Problems/Discomforts in Pregnancy
Herbs for Labor and Delivery
Herbs for Postpartum Care
Herbs for Newborn Care and Lactation
Obtaining Herbs and Herbal Products
Herbal Medicine Making Hands-on Activity
The course will be recorded and participants will have access for 30 days after the course has concluded. Participants must register with the email address they will use to access the course.
The registration fee of $250 includes the herbal medicine making kit (Liquids such as alcohol, glycerin, vinegar and olive oil are not provided).
This course has been approved for 3.5 ACNM CEUs, which are generally accepted by NARM. CEU's are an additional $50.
The last day for registration for this course will be September 13th in order to provide enough time for the herbal kits to be delivered in time for the class.
A certificate of completion will be provided upon completion of the course and receipt of the course evaluation.
